Close the door firmly until it clicks into place. 36 Use Changing a program If the detergent flap is already open, do not change the program. If a program has already started and you wish to change it: ^ Open the door. Sensor Wash Main wash 1:32 h 12:00 Cancellation } ^ Select Cancellation and confirm with OK. The program is canceled. Sensor Wash Program finished 12:00 Main menu } ^ Select Main menu. The display changes to the main menu. The program starts. 37 Additional functions Delay Start The starting time of a program can be delayed. When using the "Delay Start" function, make sure that the detergent compartment is dry before adding detergent. Otherwise the detergent could stick together and not completely rinse out. Liquid detergent should not be used when selecting "Delay Start", the detergent could leak. The display shows the current time of day and the last selected Start time, The program end time is also shown. The indicator d lights. }+ }Start time End at 1:00 pm 2:32 pm 12:00 OK } ^ Select the desired Start time with the +/- buttons. The end time will be automatically adjusted. 38 Additional functions ^ Confirm with OK. ­ if your tab water has a water hardness of over 21 °d (22 gr/gal [US]). The cleaning and drying performance of these detergent products vary. The detergent selection is set by default to powder detergent. ^ Select the detergent used and confirm with OK. 42 Settings J Water hardness The dishwasher is equipped with a sensor softener, which automatically detects the hardness of your tap water. "Rinse & Hold", the water hardness is displayed in the menu "Water hardness". ^ Touch OK to change back to "Settings J". Rinse aid For best results, the rinse aid dosage can be adjusted. ^ Select the desired rinse aid dosage with the +/- controls and confirm with OK. External water softener If the dishwasher is connected to an external water softener unit which is regenerated with salt, the water hadness must still be set in the dishwasher to the water hardness from your water softener unit. If you don't know the value, set the dishwasher water hardness to 8°d (8 gr/gal [US]). ^ Set the dishwasher to the water hardness of the external water softener and confirm with OK. If the dishwasher is not longer connected to an external water softener, set the setting to Auto. Filter check This selection allows you to set the number of cycles run before the filter check message shows. ^ Select the desired interval and confirm with OK. Adjusting the "Sensor Wash" program The "Sensor Wash" program can be adjusted to clean stubborn but normal soiling. ^ Select Yes to activate this function and confirm with OK. 43 Settings J Reorganize program list The order of the programs in the program list can be reorganized. Before discarding an old appliance, unplug it from the outlet, cut off its power cord and remove any doors to prevent hazards. 70 Electrical connection , Installation, repairs and other work by unqualified persons could be dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for unauthorized work. Check that the voltage, frequency and fuse rating shown on the data plate match the household mains supply.
