In order to obtain best results, use a high quality 50 to 75 ohm digital RCA interconnect cable. The stereo RCA cables that you are using for analog sources are not the right one. DIGITAL OPTICAL INPUTS (TOSLINK) Press this button to select the coaxial input 1, 2 or 3 as your listening source. In order to obtain best results, use a high quality TOSLINK fibre-optic cable designed specifically for audio use. we recommand to use the Advance Acoustic ACS-35 (0 , 7m) or ACS-36 (1 , 2m) optical cable. IMPORTANT : If the source that you are going to connect to your MDX-600 have both optical and digital outputs, Only one of the two types should be connected at any one time. If both the optical and coaxial outputs of your source are connected, neither will work.
