Dome Retaining Buttons Fitting / Replacing Modelling Lamps ALWAYS switch `OFF' the Pack and remove the connector to isolate the Head before replacing the modelling lamp. If the modelling lamp is not lit but the Head switch is on and the pack controls have no effect then:· Check the operation of other Heads connected to the same Pack. If these do not work and the Pack appears to be working then check/change the Pack modelling fuse after checking the Heads for faults or broken lamps. As the fuse may blow when a modelling lamp fails, always check/change the modelling fuse in the Head if the replacement lamp does not work. Ensure that the Head has cooled sufficiently before touching the reflector or glass dome. Remove the glass dome by depressing the dome retaining buttons (Fig. 3) and lifting it away from the flash head. Ensure a replacement modelling lamp of the same voltage as the supply (230 V) is used. [. . . ] To remove the flash tube first remove the glass dome as detailed above. To replace the flash tube, hold the replacement assembly as shown (Fig. 4) and locate the three brass sockets onto the plugs in the front of the Flash Head. Pass the trigger wire through the hole in the trigger terminal tag and wind around the tag, ensuring that the wire does not touch the metal top hat. [. . . ]
