If the child car seat is damaged, deformed or wornout, itmustbereplaced, asitsoriginalsafetyfeaturesmayhavebeencompromised. Do not install accessories, spare parts, or any componentnotsuppliedbythemanufacturer. â· Never leave your child unattended in the car seatforanyreason. [. . . ] The child car seat must never be installed using the Ultrafix claspsontheirown. â· InordertousetheUltrafixclasps, itisnecessary tocheckthatthecarisfittedwithIsofixanchorage points, which will be found between the backrestandseatofthecar'sseat. In this case the child car seat must not be installed on that specific seat, and you should tryinstallingitonaseatthatdoesnothavethis inconvenience. The child car seat can be fitted onto the front passenger seat or any other back seats. Toensurecorrectinstallation, checkthatthecar seat headrest does not interfere with the child seatbackrest. Theseinstructionsanddiagramsarefor the installation of the child car seat on the right backseat. Position the child car seat on the chosen vehicleseat, with thechildcar seatbackrestfirmlyup againstthevehiclebackrest(Diag. Check that the vehicle headrest does not interfere with the child seat headrest: it must not push it forwards (Diag. Check that the car safety belt retractor is behind thebackrestofthecarseat(oratleastalignedto it)(Diag. Check that any unused Ultrafix clasps are hidden awayinthecompartmentatthebackofthechild carseat. fITTINGTHECHILDCARSEATINSIDETHEVEHICLE USING SAFETY BELTS AND ULTRAFIX CLASPS WARNING!Theseinstructionsanddiagramsarefor the installation of the child car seat on the right backseat. Placethechildcarseatontothevehicleseatwith the backrest up against the vehicle seat backrest (Diag. Check that the vehicle headrest does not interfere with the child seat headrest: it must notpushitforwards(Diag. 3 Insert the two Ultrafix clasps into the correspondingISOFIXanchoragepointsonthecarseat, betweenthebackrestandtheseat(Diag. INSTALLINGTHE CHILD SEAT INSIDETHEVEHICLEWITHOUTTHECHILDINSIDE When the child car seat is not in use inside the vehicle, itshouldbeleftsecuredtothecarseat, or stowedawayinthecarboot. anunsecuredchildcar seatmaybeasourceofdangerfortheotherpassengersintheeventofanaccidentorsuddenbraking. IfthevehicleisfittedwithIsofixanchorpointsthe childcarseatcanbefittedusingtheUltrafixclasps only, following the instructions 1-3-4 in the chapterentitled"FITTINGTHECHILDCARSEATINSIDE THEVEHICLEUSINGSAFETYBELTSANDULTRAFIX CLASPS". [. . . ] Releasethecoveratthe5anchoragepoints, making sure you also remove it from the cup holder inserts, slidingitthroughtheslot(Diag. Repeat operations 4-5-6 in the reverse order, payingparticularattentionthatthecoverfitsover allpartsoftheframeperfectly, especiallyinthetwo redareaswherethesafetybeltswillpass. Insertafingerintotheslotontheseatandpress the button inside, following the instructions provided in the"Adjusting the reclining backrest" paragraph(Diag. Ifthechildcarseatisdeformedorworn out, it must be replaced: it may no longer comply with the original safety standards. [. . . ]
