No steam is produced Causes - Power supply problem - Other - There is no water in the tank - The steam trigger is not pressed - Other - The iron soleplate is not hot enough - The iron is overfilled - Other The jet of steam doesn't work Hot water runs out of the iron when placed on its heel Steam escapes from between the base and the soleplate in the front part of the iron - The safety valve is activated - The steam trigger is not pressed - Other Solutions - Check the plugs and mains - Go to your local approved service dealer - Fill the water tank - Press the steam trigger - Go to your local approved service dealer - Turn the dial to the steam setting - Unplug the iron and tip out the surplus water - Go to your local approved service dealer - Press the steam trigger before pressing the steam jet button - Go to your local approved service dealer - Go to your local approved service dealer Water is produced with the steam - Unplug the iron immediately and take it to the nearest approved after-sales service centre.
