[. . . ] FILLING THE WATER TANK • Remove the water tank from its housing by pulling it towards you. € Fill the water tank to the maximal level (fix limit indicator placed in the container). Never add products containing alcohol or essences (perfume, eau de Cologne, lavender essence…) to the water. € Remove the the anti-scale cartridge from the water tank and fill it. Insert the anti-scale cartridge in its casing, the tube shaped part coming against the rib of the reservoir. To obtain steam, the anti-scale cartridge must be inserted into the water tank. THERMOSTAT MATERIAL Fasern: Acetat - Polyacryl - Polyamid Tierische Fasern : Seide - Wolle Naturfasern: Baumwolle - Leinen THERMOSTAT ADJUSTMENT • Adjust the thermostat of the iron according to the fabric. € To use steam please ensure that the thermostat dial is set within the 2 and 3 dot settings. - 22 - TO OPERATE - HEATING PROCESS • Plug the power cable into an earthed socket. The Power On indicator lights comes on to show that the appliance is switched on. € You will need to wait for approximately 3 minutes for the iron and generator pilot light to go off. € Once the appliance is ready, press the steam trigger until steam comes out. Please note : – Whilst you are ironing, the generator and iron heating pilot lights repeatedly go on and off. € Setting B When calling for steam using this setting there will be a high surge of steam that will last for several seconds. To repeat this process, wait for a few seconds to avoid the risk of spotting. Please note • Because of the high steam output rate, there is no need to continually press the steam button. Pressing the button briefly and frequently will enable you to control the quantity of steam, in order to obtain professional results. € Select maximum steam output when : - the unit is used for the first time, - the water tank has been refilled, - the anti-scale cartridge has just been changed. NOISE To ensure regular steam output performance, your unit is equipped with a pump which is activated each time the steam trigger is pressed. : - the appliance is used for the first time - the water tank is empty - the anti-scale cartridge has just been changed.
