[. . . ] ⷠOnce the appliance is ready, press the steam trigger until steam comes out. When you switch on the iron, it may take up to 90 seconds before you can call for steam. The steam output will remain at a reduced level until the generator light goes out, by which time it will have reached the normal level. Please note : Whilst you are ironing, the generator and iron heating pilot lights repeatedly go on and off. Adjust the flow control knob to suit the type of material being ironed. The volume of steam increases gradually as you turn the control knob towards the maximum (+). ⷠAt maximum setting, there is an initial burst of steam lasting for several seconds. To repeat this process, wait for a few seconds to avoid any risk of spotting. please note · Because of the high steam output rate, there is no need to continually press the steam button. Pressing the button briefly and frequently will enable you to control the quantity of steam, in order to obtain professional results. ⷠIf the iron is used intensively, steam may continue to be produced after the steam button has been released and water may appear on the iron holder. ⷠSelect maximum steam output when : - the unit is used for the first time, - the water tank has been refilled, - the anti-scale cartridge has just been changed. To ensure regular steam output performance, your unit is equipped with a pump which is activated each time the steam trigger is pressed. : - the appliance is used for the first time - the water tank is empty - the anti-scale cartridge has just been changed. Your iron can also be used vertically to steam clothing on hangers or curtains in situ etc. ⷠMove the iron from top to bottom, keeping the steam button pressed. ⷠYou can put it down where you wish to rest the iron on. ⷠTo put the ironing rest back on the unit, slide it gently into the guides on the housing.
