Then click the Priority list box and select one of the following settings: · · · · Normal prints the job in the order it is received Urgent moves the job before Normal priority jobs in the print queue Hold holds the job in the print queue until you're ready to release it for printing by clicking restart Print Time opens the Set Print Time dialog box. Enter the date and time you want to print the document, then click OK. Cancelling Printing If you need to cancel a print job, follow these steps: 1. Do one of the following, depending on whether you're using background printing: · · If background printing is turned off, hold down the J key on your keyboard and press the (. ) period key to cancel the print job. If background printing is turned on, select EPSON Monitor3 from the application menu and click Stop Print Queue. Or, click the button, then click the stop button to cancel the print job. 3-16 Printing with EPSON Drivers for Macintosh | 3-17 Checking Printer Status The Status Monitor utility lets you check the levels of ink in your printer and configure error messages and other features of printer operation. Click the utility button see the utility menu: on the print or page setup dialog box. The software checks the amount of ink remaining in the printer and displays the Status Monitor window: Click to recheck ink levels. 3. 3-17 3-18 | Printing with EPSON Drivers for Macintosh Selecting Configuration Options You can configure the way you want the printer to handle error and warning messages, ink level checks, and print file handling in the Configuration Settings dialog box. Adjusts colors using the small-gamut sRGB (standard red green blue) color space. Best for color matching with other sRGB devices, or for images designed for the Web. You can also create your own settings and add them to this list. Select one of the following from the pull-down menu: · Note Photo-realistic if you are printing photographic images. This setting produces sharper images and automatically corrects underor over-exposure of the original image. · Vivid if you are printing non-photographic images. This setting intensifies colors and lightens the midtones and highlights. Do not turn off Photo Printing Accelerator unless you see poor image quality and want to test whether this setting has an effect. 7. For faster printing, make sure the Photo Printing Accelerator checkbox is selected. This setting speeds up data transfer between your computer and the printer.
