[. . . ] The GIADA/GIADA DE LUX/SUPERGIADA espresso coffee machine is designed and constructed with care to ensure quality, safety and reliability in time. To be certain of exploiting its potential in the best possible way and maintaining top performance of the GIADA/GIADA DE LUX/SUPERGIADA unaltered we recommend that you follow the instructions in this simple booklet very carefully to install and use the machine and perform daily maintenance correctly. [. . . ] Never place your hands or other parts of the body in the path of the water/steam nozzle. Never place your hands or other parts of the body or any other object inside the machine when it is plugged in !Never touch the hot parts of the machine (bottom of coffee distributor and water/steam nozzles) !Before performing any routine maintenance make sure the machine is unplugged, without pulling the power cable, or that the main circuit breaker is off !If the power cable should be damaged and have to be replaced, order a new cable from the manufacturer and/or its service center !Do not leave the machine within reach of children or people who are not capable of using it !Keep the coffee maker away from any heat sources To start the GIADA/GIADA DE LUX/SUPERGIADA espresso coffee maker, follow the instructions below: · Remove the cover and take out the water tank (located inside the machine) and rinse it · Fill the container with clean water, return it to its housing and insert the silicon tubes. Close the cover on the machine · The main power on light (2) and the coffee light (4) will go on Perform the following operations every time you switch the machine on and every time you draw steam: · Turn the knob on the water/steam tap (10) counter-clockwise press the coffee switch (3). Water will come out of the water/steam nozzle (11) press the coffee switch again (3) turn the water/steam knob (10) clockwise to close the tap wait about 3-4 minutes until the machine is pressurized and the coffee light (4) goes off 13 Now the GIADA/GIADA DE LUX/SUPERGIADA coffee machine is ready to use Make sure the tank is always full of water Fill the filter holder (8), with the one cup filter for one cup only or with the two cup filter for two cups at the same time, and press the coffee slightly with the special presser · Fit the filter holder (8) in the coffee distribution unit (7) and twist from left to right to block it · Place one or two cups on the cup rack (12) under the filter holder (8) · press the coffee switch (3). Coffee will come out of the bottom of the filter holder (8) · Press the coffee switch again (3) when you have enough coffee desiderata · If you want to make more coffee remove the filter holder (8) by turning it from right to left and empty out the used grounds. Repeat the above operations Never place your hands or other parts of the body in the path of the water/steam nozzle. Hot water and steam can cause serious burns make sure the machine is pressurized (see paragraph 4. 1) place a container under the steam/ hot water nozzle (11) turn the steam/hot water tap knob (10) counter-clockwise press the coffee switch (3). Hot water at about 95°C will come out of the bottom of the steam/hot water nozzle (11) · turn the steam/hot water nozzle (10) clockwise · Press the coffee switch (3) again when you have enough hot water · Never place your hands or other parts of the body in the path of the water/steam nozzle. [. . . ] Use of the machine in any other way than as contemplated in the instructions will relieve ISOMAC and all sales outlets of any liability for damage to persons or property. Se till att din jordade kontakt är ansluten till en jordfelsbrytare !Placera maskinen på en vågrät slät yta Ta bort maskinens övre toplucka och ta ut vattentanken ( placerad innuti maskinen) Fyll tanken med färskvatten Sätt tillbaka tanken i maskinen och placera båda siliconslangarna tillbaka i vattnet Sätt tillbaka maskinens övre toplucka Anslut maskinen till el uttag Sätt på huvudströmbrytaren (två lampor tänds) Huvudströmlampan (2) och Kaffelampan (4) Placera en kopp under ångtappen Öppna ångvredet (10) Tryck ner kaffeknappen (3) Nu startar pumpen och till en början låter den något ansträngd Vänta tills det kommer ut vatten genom ångtappen (11) Stäng ångvredet (10) Tryck upp kaffeknappen (3) Vänta nu 3-4 minuter till maskinen är uppe i tryck och kaffelampan släcks (4) Maskinen är nu klar att användas Bönor och malning Att uppnå bästa resultat för en god espresso : Se till att alltid ha färskt nymalet kaffe ­ var noga med att använda bra kvalite på kaffet Var noga med, om du köper färdig malet kaffe, att det är malt för att användas till espressobryggning ( det är alltså inte samma grovlek som för vanligt bryggkaffe ) Försök att finna ut vilken blandning du tycker bäst om.
