Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table recommended by the manufacturer, or sold with the product. Any mounting of the product should follow the manufacturer's instructions, and should use a mounting accessory recommended by the manufacturer. The product should be mounted on a wall or ceiling only when and as recommended by the manufacturer. Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation and to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating, and these openings must not be blocked or covered. Speaker Placement The ideal placement for the HT PS300 is along the wall where the front speakers are installed. [. . . ] Listen to your HT PS300 subwoofer and main speakers with the switch in the "0°" position, then listen to the same material with the switch set to "180°" Decide . Repeat this procedure if you change the location of the subwoofer. Troubleshooting If there is no output from the subwoofer, check the following: · System is on and a source is playing. · If you are using the THX input, make sure the THX/ Normal switch is set to "THX. " · If you are not using the THX input, make sure the THX/ Normal switch is set to "Normal. " · If you are using the "High Level Inputs, " check all wires and connections between the receiver/amplifier and the subwoofer. [. . . ]
