Symptom Possible Problem No power to the system. No volume or low volume. Solution Ensure that the power supply is connected to a live power source and properly connected to the JBL On Stage IIIP. Note: When the JBL On Stage IIIP is powered, a green power LED on the JBL On Stage IIIP should light up. Touch the volume "Up" (+) pad on the volume control to unmute and/or increase the system volume level. Note: Touching the volume "Down" (­) pad lowers the system volume. Touching both the (+) and (­) volume control pads at the same time will mute the system. Press the Play button on the iPod or remote control. Sound Quality No sound from the JBL On Stage IIIP speaker system. Symptom No power; green LED is not on. Possible Problem Wall adapter is not plugged into the JBL On Stage IIIP correctly. [. . . ] Wall adapter is not receiving AC power. Solution Check the connection of the wall adapter. Place the wall adapter in a known powered outlet. Undock & re-dock iPhone in unit. Error message: "Device is not iPhone Compatible" is displayed on iPhone after docking on the unit. iPhone has an old firmware version. Charging iPod will not charge.
