To store favorite channels for quick access, select the desired channel, then press and hold the desired preset button (1-6) (19) for more than three seconds until the corresponding number appears in the display. While in Sirius satellite radio mode, press SHIFT/SCAN (20a) to select from four available modes: Normal, Category, Direct Tune and Set Skip Channel. When the Category or Set Skip Channel modes are selected, the corresponding icon appears in the display. To search the available music categories, press SHIFT/SCAN to access category mode then press CATEGORY (20b) or CATEGORY (20c) to scroll through the available category options. When the desired category is found, search for a specific channel by momentarily pressing CH TUNE - or CH TUNE +. When the desired channel is found, press BAND/ENTER to access the channel. When direct tune mode is accessed, "CH000" will appear in the display with the digit representing the "hundreds" value flashing.
