For AC power, insert the AC adaptor plug into DC Jack located on the back of the speaker. Observe the polarity markings inside the compartment and correctly insert 4 x "AAA" (UM-4) batteries (not included). Replace the compartment cover. Warning 1. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommend are to be used. If the unit is not to be used for an extended period of time, remove the battery.
