The sound from the center speaker might arrive to the listener before the left and right speakers. The difference in sound arrival time would ruin the sound quality and effect, even the best DVD titles. Fortunately DD-5. 1 allows you to adjust the center speaker time delay to compensate this problem by increasing the delay time for the center channel. Thus sound from the center, left and right speakers reach the listener at the same time. If your center speaker is closer to the listening area than the left and right speakers. To increase or decrease the delay time, press D TIME + or D TIME - until a desire distance is matched. Same procedures can be applied for adjusting the delay time of surround speakers if necessary. 19 DD-5. 1 Operation Time Delay Adjustment on Center Channel Speaker Delay Calibration balance delay prologic field EQ on/off EQ setup preset 1 preset 2 preset 3 Press DELAY Button to select the length of delay time for SL/SR/C channels.
