The remote control can be programmedby pressingin a three digit codenumber, listed in the codetable, that corresponds particular manufactures brandsof to and AudioNideo equipment. [. . . ] ) Step3 Point the remotecontrol toward the equipmentandpressin the three digit codenumberthat is assigned your brandof equipment. The equipmentwill turn to off when the correct codenumber is entered. Note: If there is more than one three digit numberlisted for your brand, try one code numberat a time until your equipmentturns off. When it turns off, you have selected right codenumber for your equipment. Storethe codenumber by pressingthe corresponding Device button once again. The Device button will blink twice to confirm that the codehas beenstored and then turn off. Step5. If any of the functions do not work as they should, repeatfrom Step2 usingthe next three digit codenumber assigned your brand. Pressthe ChannelUP button to storethe commands. The Device Button will blink twice to confirm the programming. Note:ThePowerOn/Off code is storedusingthe MUTE button during macrobutton programmIng. D. Volume Punch Through: The usercan program the remoteto selectthe Audio or TV Volume controls ( Volume UP, Down and MUTE ) to operatein any of the eight modes. Pressthe Device and MUTE button, simultaneously, hold until the red LED of the Device button remainslit. Pressthe Audio or TV Device button, dependingon whetherAUDIO volume or TV volume is desiredfor the particular Device mode. The Device button will blink twice, to confmn the programmingandthen turn off . Example:If you wish to havethe Audio volume operatein the VCR mode, you would pressthe VCR Device button in Step 1 and the Audio Device button in Step3. E.
