WARNING : To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons when using the washer, follow basic precautions, including the following: • Before installation, check for exterior damages. • Do not install or store the washer where it will be exposed to the weather. • Do not repair or replace any part of the washer or attempt any servicing unless specifically recommended in the user-maintenance instructions or published user-repair instructions that you understand and have the skills to carry out. NOTE Do not pour fabric softener directly on the cloths 12 A dding detergent 3. Detergent dosage • The detergent should be used according to the instruction of the detergent manufacture. • If too much detergent is used, too many suds can occur and this will decrease the washing result or cause heavy load to the motor. (Causing malfunctions) • If there are too many suds, the detergent quantity must be reduced. • Detergent usage may need to be adjusted for water temperature, water hardness, size and soil level of the load. • Detergent is flushed from the dispenser at the beginning of the cycle. [Important Note] Recommended amount of detergent as per wash load Water quality and temperature will play a major part on how much detergent is required. Follow the detergent manufacturer's recommendation as a guide, however, Less detergent can often be used. Never use more than the Detergent manufacturer’s recommendation. (Too much soap, or over sudsing may cause the unit to operate abnormally. ) Always use Detergent designed for Front Load Washing machines only. Start • This Start/Pause button is used to start wash cycle or pause the wash cycle. 2. Pause • If temporary stop of wash cycle is needed, press the Start/Pause button. • When in Pause, the power is turned off automatically after 4 minutes. The door will not open before 1 to 2 minutes when Pause is selected, or at the end of the wash cycle. 1. Medic Rinse • This option allows the final rinse to be heated to 40 degrees. • It cannot be chosen in the Quick 30, Hand Wash/Wool, Duvet, Delicate and Bulky cycles. Detecting 2. Pre Wash • If the laundry is heavily soiled, “Pre Wash” course is effective. • Pre Wash is available in Cotton, Cotton Quick, Synthetic, Bio Care, Baby Care and Boiling Care. • While the "Detecting" is shown in the display the machine rotates slowly and detects how much laundry is in the drum. • The auto detect will function in the Cotton, Cotton Quick, and Synthetic Cycles. 3.
