After five years of success, the second generation has arrived, incorporating improvements in both features and design. MAIN FEATURES 4SOFT START INCORPORATING BREAKER SWITCH4An effective circuit built into all DL Series models prevents current surge when the amplifier is switched on. The "on­off" switch incorporates a consumption limiter or breaker which serves to protect the system by avoiding unreliable mains fuses. A mains filter guarantees the fulfillment of EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) directives. 4SIGNAL / NOISE RATIO >100 dB4A feature all good amplifiers should incorporate. When a DL Series amplifier is not emitting any signal, its silence is its most distinctive feature. 4ELECTRONICALLY BALANCED INPUTS4For immunity to external noise interference. 4HIGH DAMPING FACTOR4The exclusive design of the power unit with no output relays ensures a high damping factor which results in outstanding performance in the low frequency woofers. 4SUBSONIC AND ULTRASONIC FILTER4The use of active filters which limit the amplifier's frequency response within the audible range prevents some serious speaker damages caused by oscillations due to a loose connection or a worn wire. PROTECTION SYSTEMS 4THERMAL PROTECTION4The NTC thermal sensors are located on each heatsink to give a precise temperature control. The limiter also acts as a protection device both varying the output power in relation to the optimal working temperature and at the same time protecting the unit in case of short-circuit. 4TWO OHMS OPERATION4The DL Series are designed to operate at low impedance in musical reproduction. However, it is not advisable to use the amplifier at full power or in fixed installations where the increase in consumption and temperature could trigger the thermal circuit cut-off or breaker switch. 4BRIDGE FUNCTION4A switch located at the rear panel 4SHORT-CIRCUIT4The protection circuit keeps the power allows the amplifier to add the signal from both stereo channels into one.
