[. . . ] Thank you for your purchase of an ES-E28 Slide Copying Adapter for Nikon digital cameras. [. . . ] If your camera requires the use of a lens adapter, see table below, first attach the lens adapter to the camera lens, then screw the slide copying adapter into the lens adapter. Screw the slide copying adapter into the threaded section in the front of the camera lens. After attaching the slide-copying adapter as described above, loosen the locking screw and rotate the adapter head until the holder insertion slot is parallel with the camera's horizontal axis (Figure 1). When using an incandescent light source, keep the diffuser screen at least thirty centimeters (one foot) from the bulb. If the adapter is placed too close to an incandescent light bulb or left too long in its vicinity, the heat may damage the film or deform the holder.
