These shocks are completely harmless and are not associated with the electric grid. In order to minimize any impact, do not place your hand or insert any object in the receptacle, unless you have first emptied it and rinsed it with water. - When you are no longer going to use this product, recycle it so it is disposed according to local regulations. Electrical Requirements Verify that the voltage shown on the device's information plaque matches the power in your home, which must be AC (alternating current). If your household outlets are not suitable for the plug supplied with this device, contact a qualified electrician to perform their replacement. WARNING: if you remove the plug or cut the power cord, the unit must be destroyed, since it could cause a dangerous situation. Carefully remove the dust receptacle, (15) pressing the receptacle release button (14). Clean the inside of the dust receptacle (15) using a dry or damp towel. Make sure the dust receptacle is completely dry before you install and use it. CLEANING THE FILTER Cleaning the dust receptacle filter NOTE: if suction is significantly reduced even after emptying the dust receptacle, extract the Hepa filter (13) and rinse it with warm water. Remove the dust receptacle (15) HEPA filter (13) turning the cover in a counter-clockwise direction. Put the Hepa filter (13) and the dust receptacle (15) back into place in the unit just as it was removed. nOTE: Cleaning the Hepa filter (13) and the output filter (19) at the same time is recommended on a periodic basis. NOTE: Never insert filters in the machine when wet, since this could cause an electrical hazard. Make sure the output filter (19) is completely dry before setting it up.
