[. . . ] Our products are developed to meet the highest quality, performance and design standards. IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS When using electrical appliances, certain basic safety precautions must be followed, including the following: - Read all of the instructions carefully, even if you already know how to operate the appliance. [. . . ] - Make sure that there is sufficient clearance around and above the appliance for air circulation when it is being used. It is recommended to protect surfaces that may be damaged by the heat with a heat-insulating table mat. - Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than that for which it has been designed. - This product must not be used by children or by other people without assistance or supervision if their physical, sensory or mental condition limits safe use of the appliance. Children must be watched to make sure that they do not play with the appliance. - If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its authorised technical service centre or by a qualified technician in order to avoid hazards. - The correct operating temperature will have been reached when the red light extinguishes. - To obtain well-toasted sandwiches, we recommend lightly smearing the outer surface of the bread with butter, that is, the filling will be placed between the sides without butter. If you decide not to do this, you may find that it is necessary to grease the toasting plates with margarine, butter or oil after toasting a certain number of sandwiches. - Place the sandwiches in the sandwich toaster and close the top gently but firmly until it clicks into position. In most cases, the sandwich will be cut in half by the separator or will need gentle pressing by a knife to separate the halves. Sandwiches with "hard" fillings such as wholemeal bread or very thick sandwiches may need to be cut outside of the toaster. - Although the plates are coated with a non-stick material, some fillings may melt, causing the sandwich to stick to the plates. - Never use a sharp object such as a knife as this may damage the non-stick coating. [. . . ] SANDWICH FILLINGS FOR THE SANDWICH TOASTER - Use brown, wholemeal, white or rye bread of a suitable size for the sandwich toaster. CHEESE FILLINGS Cheese, tomato and onion 50 g of grated cheese 1 large tomato, sliced and drained 1 onion, sliced and lightly fried Salt, pepper and oregano Mix together Cheese and asparagus 50 g of grated Cheddar 50 g of asparagus, sliced and drained Salt and pepper Mix together Cheese and Biltong 50 g of grated Cheddar or Gouda 150 g of grated Biltong 3 spring onions, sliced Mix together Thank you for choosing one of our products.
