When a call is received, the unit does not ring while the caller is being identified. If the phone number matches an entry in the call barred list, the unit sends out a busy tone to the caller, and then disconnects the call. Program this setting using either the base unit or one of the handsets. Important: L When the unit receives a call from a number that is stored in the call barred list, the call is logged in the caller list (page 27) with 7 after the call is disconnected. Storing unwanted callers You can store up to 30 phone numbers in the call barred list by using the caller list or by entering the numbers directly. Important: L It is advised to store the phone number with an area code in the call barred list. 6 7 8 Enter the desired date and month. i M L We recommend selecting a different ringer tone to the one used for outside calls.
