Please bear in mind that your skin may need two to four weeks to become fully accustomed to the unique Philishave shaving system. It is possible to clean the shaving unit by means of a degreasing liquid (alcohol for example). Lubricate the shaving heads and the trimmer with a drop of sewing machine oil. Keep your finger under the shaving head to prevent the cutter from falling out of the guard. If you should accidentally mix up the guards and cutters, it may take several weeks before optimal shaving performance is restored. Clean each cutter carefully by brushing in the direction of the arrow only, using the short bristled brush.
