MUTE function Press 4 times MENU key, MUTE symbol function lights, using key UP and DN to activate or disable such function. Squelch contol Enter SQUELCH mode pressing 5 times MENU key, SI symbol with the current level value is displayed: Number 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Squelch level 95, 0 dB 91, 7 dB 88, 3 dB 85, 0 dB 81, 7 dB 78, 3 dB 75, 0 dB 71, 7 dB 68, 3 dB 65, 0 dB Select level using key UP and DO, confirm pressing with MEM key. If the signal in input is below the setting level, the receiver is MUTE, Such function eliminates background noise during pause time. The display visualise the current setting without allowing the setting modification: the sole available functions setting is : to power on, to switch off, to set MUTE and lock selection.
