Engage this switch if you want to mute the signal coming from the FX1 internal effect. You can connect a footswitch to MUTE both the FX1 and FX2 internal effects, suggested footswitches are PROEL model PFS20, PFS24, PFS29. NOTE: the FX1 and FX2 mutes change status each time the footswitch is pressed, in other words if both effects are ON they became both AFF, if one effect is ON and the other is OFF, they became OFF and ON respectively. Use these unbalanced RCA connectors to patch the output of a player, such as an analog tape deck, a DAT, a MD or a CD player. IMPORTANT: this input and the USB input are routed together, so we suggest to use only one of them at the same time. It adjust the level of the 2TRK INPUT and USB input (audio signal from a PC). Use these unbalanced RCA connectors to send out the MAIN MIX signal to a recorder (such as an analog tape, a DAT or a MD recorder). Push in this switch to send the 2TRK input signal and USB input signal to C. NOTE: for a correct operation we suggest to choose these three switches (76) or (77) or (78) or (79) one at a time. IMPORTANT: these four switches also select which signal is displayed on LED METERS when none channel is soloed. [. . . ] Turn down: the MAIN MIX (108) fader level, the GROUP 1-2 / 3-4 (104) faders level, the C. In your DAW software make sure to set record tracks WITHOUT MONITORING during playback/recording (the method depends by your DAW software). Make sure these switches are UP: 2TRK TO MIX (74), GROUP TO MIX (105) MIX (76) otherwise you'll hear feedback when you turn up the MAIN MIX fader later. Set each recording channel's GAIN (4)(26) knobs and LEVEL (22)(43) fader so that you're getting good level without lighting the PEAK indicator on the mixer, also using the SOLO (21)(42) and SOLO MODE (113) PFL and AFL operations.
