[. . . ] When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following: 1. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or appliance in water or other liquids. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. [. . . ] Of special bread dough such as: rye bread, whole wheat bread, multigrain bread, etc. Turn the speed selector (a2) to the 2 position to start, or, for better control use the pulse position. Of foods such as: - raw or cooked meat (bone and gristle removed, and cut into cubes). - hard products: cheese, dried fruits and nuts, certain vegetables (carrots, celery, etc. To remove the bowl-lid assembly: turn the assembly to the left to release it and unlock the lid. ⷠInsert the food through the feed tube in the lid and guide it with the pusher (b1). ⷠTurn the speed selector (a2) to the 1 position to slice or to the 2 position to grate. ⷠYou can use the discs for: - coarse grating (C) / fine grating (A): zucchini, potatoes, carrots, cheese, etc. Make sure you install the emulsifying disc the right way round: see diagram box 5. Put on the lid (b2) and lock it on the bowl (b3), then turn the assembly to the right to the locked position. To remove the bowl-lid assembly: turn the assembly to the left to release it and unlock the lid. Note : M ake su re you instal l the e mu l sifyi ng disc with the r ight side u p: se e fi gu r e 5. ⷠNever use this accessory to knead heavy dough or to mix cake mixtures or batter. You can prepare: mayonnaise, aioli, light sauces, whisk egg whites (1 to 6 egg whites), and whip cream (up to 1 cup). Place the ingredients in the blender jug (h3) without exceeding the maximum level indicated on the jug. Put on the lid (h2), with the measuring cap (h1), and lock it on the jug. After use, wait until the appliance has come to a stop, then unlock the blender to release it. Never use the blender to grind dry products (hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts, etc. ⷠAlways pour liquid ingredients into the jug first before adding solid ingredients, without exceeding the maximum level indicated: - 5 cups for thick mixtures. To add ingredients while mixing, remove the measuring cap (h1) from the lid and pour the ingredients through the filling hole without exceeding the filling level indicated on the bowl. Once the appliance has come to a stop, unlock the blender to release it. ⷠFor finely crusched ice, use a maximum of 4 to 5 large ice cubes. [. . . ] Be careful not to keep it running for too long, otherwise the cream could curdle. 200ml olive or sunflower oil ( or a mixture of both) ­ 1 egg yolk ­ 1 heaped teaspoon Dijon mustard ­ 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar ­ salt ­ pepper. Put the egg yolk, mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper in the bowl fitted with the emulsifying unit. Run at speed 2, after a few seconds (2 to 3 seconds), slowly pour the oil in a very slow steam through the feed tube in the lid. [. . . ]
