This helicopter is an excellent choice for flying enthusiasts like you. For convenient assembly and safe operation of the helicopter, please read the instructions carefully. [. . . ] Push the Tail Boom in to the Tail Boom Bracket all the way to the end. Not fix the 3 Tail Rod Guides and not screw tighten the Tail Boom Clamp at this step; the position of these parts may be adjusted later. First tape the belt & insert the end of the belt as shown, and not twist the belt at this step. Line up the concave of Tail Rotor Shaft and the hole of Hub when securing the Tail Rotor Hub onto the Tail Rotor Shaft. Secure the screws with a drop of threadlocking but not over tighten, ensure the moveable parts run effortlessly. Remove the tape from the rear of the belt and twist it toward left by 90° (view from tail to nose), then warp around the Metal Tail Pulley. Assembly the Tail Pulley Case, but do not over close these 2-half of the Tail Case tightly and ensure the Tail Pulley runs effortlessly. Assembly the Tail Support Bracket & Tail Boom Supports as drawing, but do not tighten at this step; the position of Tail Support Bracket may be adjusted later. Ensure the leading edge of the blades are toward proper side as shown. Ensure both the main & tail rotor heads rotate effortlessly in correct direction: turn the Main Gear clockwise, the Main Rotor Grips turn clockwise, and the Tail blades turn counter clockwise. Pull the Tail Boom out slightly by grasping the Tail Unit with one hand and the main frame set with the other. The distance from the center of the servo horn to both sides of the linkage balls should be the same. The length may vary when using different servo, please re-adjust the length as actual condition. These drawings are printed actual size; you can lay the linkage sets on the left drawings to measure the correct length. At low throttle and with the throttle trim all the way down, the carburetor hole should close completely. Adjust the ATV function in your transmitter to achieve the above requirement. If your radio does not have ATV, then adjust the location of the steel link ball on the throttle servo arm to get the correct throttle travel. But people may get confused because the 3 channels are not referred to any independent movement. They are operated together to carry out the rolling, flipping and collective controlling. Length measured from ball link center to ball link center The above pushrod lengths permit 3D flying with the Titan X50. Pushrod lengths are measured from ball link center to ball link center. suggested throttle and collective pitch set up: Idle-up1 is for continuous 3D flying and aerobatics. [. . . ] Out of track causes vibration, instability and a loss of power due to additional drag. Please adjust the tracking repeatedly until the blades are in track properly. (1) Check every screw and bolt to make sure none has loosened due to vibration. (2) Check every rotating and movable part to ensure they still move smoothly and normally. [. . . ]
