Connecting RF antenna or Cable TV Wire Make sure the power is OFF before installing your Multimedia TV Display. Connect the Multimedia TV Display to TV antenna wire or cable/satellite box with 75-ohm coaxial cable. Preset the TV channels into memory with AUTO SCAN function when using an antenna or cable TV system without a cable connecter box. Connecting to DVD / Set Top Box ENGLISH 1) With RCA A/V cable: Connect Video/ Audio cables from compatible devices into the back panel of Multimedia TV Display. RCA A/V Cable (not supplied) VCR or DVD Player 2) With SCART cable: SCART Cable VCR or DVD Player 3) With D-SUB to YPbPr cable: Connect the D-SUB to YPbPr cable from YPbPr output of the DVD Player to VGA input terminal of your Multimedia TV Display. Also, connect the Audio In cable from the DVD Player to your Multimedia TV Display. The D-SUB to YPbPr input source can support up to 1080i high definition. VCR or DVD Player Audio In Cable (not supplied) D-SUB to YPbPr Cable ViewSonic 13 N1900w 4. Connecting to a Computer 1) VGA (15pin D-Sub): Connect the VGA cable from VGA output terminal of PC to the VGA input terminal of your Multimedia TV Display. PC PC Audio In Connect the Audio In cable (green) from audio output of your computer to the audio input terminal (green) of the Multimedia TV Display. PC Audio Connection (not supplied) VGA 15 Pin Cable (not supplied) 2) DVI-D Terminal: Connect the DVI-D cable from DVI output of computer to the DVI terminal input of the Multimedia TV Display. PC DVI-D Audio In Connect the Audio In cable (green) from audio output of your computer to the audio input terminal (green) of the Multimedia TV Display. PC Audio Connection (not supplied) DVI Cable (not supplied) 5. Connecting with the Power Cord Connect the power cord to the power cord connector on the back of your Multimedia TV Display, and plug the other end of the power cord into a correctly grounded electrical outlet. AC wall socket ViewSonic 14 N1900w ENGLISH Basic Operation ENGLISH To operate your Multimedia TV Display, you may use the TV remote control or top panel buttons to select input source, change channels, or adjust volume. Turning the Multimedia TV Display Before using the Multimedia TV Display: 1. Power On/Off To turn the Multimedia TV Display on/off: Press POWER button front Multimedia TV Display or press POWER button on your remote control to turn on/off the Multimedia TV Display. The power LED indicator lights green when the Multimedia TV Display is on. Selecting input source Repeatedly press the INPUT button on the remote control to select the required input source between TV, PC, DVI, SCART, D-SUB (YPbPr) or AV. If you want to restore volume, press MUTE again, or press VOL-/+ directly.
